We seek to not only strengthen the vibrancy of our city’s music scene, but we also actively advocate and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in our city’s music ecosystem to ensure that there is diverse representation from our local creative communities of color that reflects ALL of our city’s cultural landscape.

The Green Room is an intimate monthly vibe created by the combination of featured live musical performances + community jam sessions. NO DEEP REHEARSALS! Improvisation is welcomed!!

Music Box Project
Extensive boot camp training program that provides technical and marketing knowledge, skills, and mentorship needed to succeed in our city’s evolving music scene. This program offers opportunities for the selected artists/performers to be connected within our larger music and cultural arts networks of partners for potential jobs and paid gig performances.

Music Mentorship Program
This community initiative is designed to create informative interactions between local seasoned musicians and aspiring artists. Seasoned musicians share their experiences, skills, and invaluable industry insights, covering everything from vocal techniques and instrumental mastery to songwriting and production. Unlike traditional music education, mentorship allows for tailored advice that aligns with the mentee's unique style and musical aspirations. This can include help with developing a distinctive sound, navigating the complexities of music contracts, or even building a personal brand. Veterans get the chance to give back to the community and shape the future of the industry, while up-and-comers receive the guidance necessary to turn their passion into a thriving career.
